Abstract
The purpose of this study was to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of VIII Hatta class students at SMP Negeri 4 in Singaraja by using the Problem Solving Learning Model to Internalize Pancasila Values in Civics. The method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK). Utilizing observation, interviews with experts, tests, and documentation to conduct data collection. This study used two cycles, each of which consisted of planning, action, observation or evaluation, and reflection. Students of SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja in Class VIII Hatta, totaling 17 male and 15 female students, became the research subjects. The result of the implementation of cycle I on the students' motivation level was about 118.6 and they were placed in the medium category. And the learning outcomes of cycle I obtained a value of 58.75 with a sufficient category. Given the proportional results obtained in cycle I, cycle II should be completed as a comparison in terms of students' motivation and learning outcomes. The results for cycle II Learning Motivation Improvement had an average result of 142.7 with a very good category. In cycle II learning outcomes, there were 81.25 average scores in the good category. This shows that by using the Problem Solving Learning Model for Class VIII Hatta Students of SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja, there is evidence of increased motivation and learning outcomes.
